A Quiet Season is Dekáf’s first-edition holiday blend. It's a calm, cozy decaf cup crafted for the quieter moments of winter. This limited release pairs a limited-harvest Brazil from Fazenda Um with our beloved Colombia Papayo, creating a harmonious light-medium roast that’s both comforting and quietly expressive.
Soft ribbons of molasses warmth, a dusting of nutmeg spice, and a gentle, pinot-noir- depth come together in a cup that feels both festive and reflective.
It’s a blend made for slow mornings, early sunsets, and all the small rituals that make the season meaningful.

Originally pioneered in Switzerland, the Swiss Water® Process now operates in Canada. The gentle decaffeination method uses only water, temperature, and time. Zero chemical solvents.
Swiss Water® Processing involves using Green Coffee Extract to tempt the caffeine out of the beans - immersing the beans in water already saturated with coffee’s natural compounds (minus the caffeine). Because the water is already “full” of flavor compounds, it selectively targets caffeine molecules, leaving flavor and aroma intact.
Activated carbon filters then sweep away the caffeine molecules, preserving the bright notes and captivating aromas unique to the coffee’s origin. The result? A truly elegant, rich-tasting decaf...all free of chemicals.

A Quiet Season marks a milestone for Dekáf - our first-ever holiday blend, created by pairing something familiar with a rare seasonal guest.
Our fleeting addition, Brazil Fazenda Um, is a limited-harvest lot from the celebrated Um family, recognized for their organic, quality-driven cultivation and competition-level craftsmanship. This coffee appears only for the season, adding depth and richness that make the blend feel distinctly winter-worthy.
Anchoring this blend is our Colombia Papayo. It's expressive profile and dependable elegance give the blend its reassuring sense of continuity (a reminder of what we’ve always valued in decaf).
This light-medium roast profile of the two origins come together in flavors of molasses, nutmeg, and gentle pinot-noir-like fruit depth. The result? A cup that's reflective of the softer moments the holidays invite.
