Dekáf'd by way of Swiss Water®

Originally pioneered in Switzerland, the Swiss Water® Process now operates in Canada. The gentle decaffeination method uses only water, temperature, and time. Zero chemical solvents.

Swiss Water® Processing involves using Green Coffee Extract to tempt the caffeine out of the beans -  immersing the beans in water already saturated with coffee’s natural compounds (minus the caffeine). Because the water is already “full” of flavor compounds, it selectively targets caffeine molecules, leaving flavor and aroma intact.

Activated carbon filters then sweep away the caffeine molecules, preserving the bright notes and captivating aromas unique to the coffee’s origin. The result? A truly elegant, rich-tasting decaf...all free of chemicals.

    Testing different coffee flavors.

    I am on my third packet of coffee. So far, all have been good, but I’m leaning towards Whisper. I’ve had Conversation and Costa Rica. Have not tried Peru yet. I will be ordering more very soon.

    Rich flavor and nothing missing

    I recently switched to decaf coffee from regular. Typically I have found decaf to have a certain quality of "missing something". I looked at others' recommendations for brands with no chemical processing and a rich flavor. Dekaf was the first one I found that had a wide variety of decaf options. Most places offer tons of regular varieties and 1 decaf option. I did the sample pack from Dekaf and so far love them all. So happy with this find!

    Ethiopia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru

    Definitely if you want to experience different perspectives of Dekaf. This is your way to go. The ethiopian beans do not taste like dekaf, neither any other but the peruvian. Those have a very dark roast which makes volatiles to express more like a woody flavor. But certainly amazing coffees.
