This medium-dark roast half-caf blend pairs decaf Guatemala Finca Santa Isabel with caffeinated Vietnam Dung K'No Arabica in equal measure. Toasted malt biscuit, the deep sweetness of medjool date, and a bittersweet lift of orange marmalade give Even Odds its subtle indulgent character.
Warm and generous, with a bright citrus thread running through its richer notes, it's a coffee worth settling in with.

Originally pioneered in Switzerland, the Swiss Water® Process now operates in Canada. The gentle decaffeination method uses only water, temperature, and time. Zero chemical solvents.
Swiss Water® Processing involves using Green Coffee Extract to tempt the caffeine out of the beans - immersing the beans in water already saturated with coffee’s natural compounds (minus the caffeine). Because the water is already “full” of flavor compounds, it selectively targets caffeine molecules, leaving flavor and aroma intact.
Activated carbon filters then sweep away the caffeine molecules, preserving the bright notes and captivating aromas unique to the coffee’s origin. The result? A truly elegant, rich-tasting decaf...all free of chemicals.

While we offer complimentary economy shipping on orders $40+ within the contiguous United States, due to carrier surcharges and extended transit distances, orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories are subject to a flat $10 shipping fee and ship exclusively via USPS.

Coffee shares the land with persimmon, jackfruit, and avocado in Dung K'No, a smallholder community in Vietnam's Lam Dong highlands. Here, at 1,100-1,400 meters, farmers cultivate Arabica in a landscape shaped by mild temperatures and seasonal rains. Even Odds gives this Vietnamese harvest an equal partner in Guatemala's Finca Santa Isabel, a decaf coffee from volcanic terrain with an inviting sweetness and citrus character. Their medium-dark expression recalls a generously laid breakfast table: malt biscuit, medjool date, and orange marmalade. Familiar comforts, drawn from two growing landscapes, with half-caf balance at the heart of it.
