Enriched by volcanic soil, this single-origin decaf coffee boasts lively baking spice notes, cherry cobbler sweetness, and a hint of red grape. The medium roast accentuates its natural brightness and delicate acidity, making it a true standout among Colombian coffees.

ROAST: Medium
CAFFEINE: 0.1%

Dekáf'd by way of Swiss Water®

Originally pioneered in Switzerland, the Swiss Water® Process now operates in Canada. The gentle decaffeination method uses only water, temperature, and time. Zero chemical solvents.

Swiss Water® Processing involves using Green Coffee Extract to tempt the caffeine out of the beans -  immersing the beans in water already saturated with coffee’s natural compounds (minus the caffeine). Because the water is already “full” of flavor compounds, it selectively targets caffeine molecules, leaving flavor and aroma intact.

Activated carbon filters then sweep away the caffeine molecules, preserving the bright notes and captivating aromas unique to the coffee’s origin. The result? A truly elegant, rich-tasting decaf...all free of chemicals.

These folks love decaf and I love them

I have been trying different beans every month. Peru is still my favorite but the choices have all exceeded my expectations for sweetness, balance, taste and consistency.

The last one off the sample box and once again, it does NOT disappoint at all! I find Colombian coffee sometimes can be a little heavy and too rich but this one was not. You can taste a faint cherryness coming thru the thickness. Very nice coffee. Drinking it pourover black this time.

    Papa-yay-yo

Should be labeled as Columbian papa yay-yo because after one cup I emptied a mound on my office desk and shoved my face into it and deeply snorted like Tony Montana
