Originally pioneered in Switzerland, the Swiss Water® Process now operates in Canada. The gentle decaffeination method uses only water, temperature, and time. Zero chemical solvents.
Swiss Water® Processing involves using Green Coffee Extract to tempt the caffeine out of the beans - immersing the beans in water already saturated with coffee’s natural compounds (minus the caffeine). Because the water is already “full” of flavor compounds, it selectively targets caffeine molecules, leaving flavor and aroma intact.
Activated carbon filters then sweep away the caffeine molecules, preserving the bright notes and captivating aromas unique to the coffee’s origin. The result? A truly elegant, rich-tasting decaf...all free of chemicals.

A solid medium-dark, that leans slightly towards dark. I don't get the churros note, but the chocolate note is spot on - smells like walking into a coffee shop in town that makes chocolate buns. Using an AeroPress, I needed to grind finer and brew hotter to pull out the body I like, so keep that in mind as you dial it in.

Another fantastic decaf espresso. This one really gets me. When I wake up in the morning, I always look forward to this cup of coffee, and I enjoy it just as much after lunch because I know it’s decaf. It’s a coffee I can savor any time of day without a second thought.
