A deeper take on summer, Siesta Forever's dark roast reimagines decaf with the Honduras COCASAM and a limited-harvest Cerro Blanco from Peru through an Italian-style roast profile. Deeply caramelized and syrupy, the cup opens with notes of Black Forest cake, honey grilled peach, and oatmeal raisin cookie. The result is a darker expression that feels nostalgic and complex.

Originally pioneered in Switzerland, the Swiss Water® Process now operates in Canada. The gentle decaffeination method uses only water, temperature, and time. Zero chemical solvents.

Swiss Water® Processing involves using Green Coffee Extract to tempt the caffeine out of the beans -  immersing the beans in water already saturated with coffee’s natural compounds (minus the caffeine). Because the water is already “full” of flavor compounds, it selectively targets caffeine molecules, leaving flavor and aroma intact.

Activated carbon filters then sweep away the caffeine molecules, preserving the bright notes and captivating aromas unique to the coffee’s origin. The result? A truly elegant, rich-tasting decaf...all free of chemicals.

Siesta Forever's Italian roast is an expression of the latter.

Roasted dark, this version of the blend leans deeper, fuller, and preserves the layered fruit character underneath. Honduras COCASAM brings warmth and structure, while the limited-harvest Cerro Blanco lot from San Martín, Peru softens the profile with jam-like sweetness.

The cup opens with rich notes reminiscent of Black Forest cake before giving way to honey grilled peaches and finally, the familiar comfort of oatmeal raisin cookies. Darker roast development amplifies the blend's syrupy body with caramelized sugars, creating a profile that feels equally suited for slow mornings, afternoon resets, or the kind of warm summer evenings that seem to stretch endlessly.
